WARNING!!!

From this call, the Journal changes and improves its processes.

Publication of an article in MeTis involves:

Step 1: Proposal of an abstract of the article to the Scientific Steering Committee using the email metis@progedit.com by the date specified in the Call. The abstract must consist of a file produced in accordance with the ABSTRACT TEMPLATE downloadable from the INFORMATION menu;

Step 2: Evaluation of the abstract and notification of possible acceptance. The issue editors (usually two) identified in advance by the Scientific Steering Committee will check primarily (but not exclusively) for consistency with the Call;

Step 3: Submission of the article whose abstract has been accepted through the MeTis journal platform. The contribution, complete and written in full compliance with ethical and editorial standards, stripped of any data or references that might reveal the Author(s), must be submitted by the deadline indicated in the Call. Subsequently, contributions will undergo the double-blind peer-review process;

Step 4: Double blind peer review. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the refereeing procedure and related indications about the timing of any correction;

Step 5: Publication.

All contributions proposed by unstructured scholars (who do not access the VQR) as single author or first signature, if they receive a positive refereeing, may be published respecting a fixed proportion with respect to the number of contributions of structured authors, by virtue of ANVUR indications. It is, therefore, not possible to guarantee everyone, even with positive refereeing, publication on the issue related to the call in which they participated. Contributions that do not accede to immediate publication will become part of the MeTis archive and may be published gradually in subsequent issues upon the author's explicit request to the Editorial Board.

The journal welcomes in the ESSAYS section contributions adhering to the Call (no more than 15) and in the MISCELLANY section contributions that deviate from that theme (no more than 10 and in any case in quantities not exceeding the contributions accepted in response to the Call).

The journal welcomes contributions in English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
