On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Paulo Freire's birth (Sept. 21, 1921-2021), events celebrating his work and the fruitfulness of his thought multiplied around the world. The universal projection of this philosopher and pedagogue gained worldwide recognition, not only for the intrinsic value of his works, now translated into numerous languages, but also and above all for his role as a "pathfinder" for the education of the future. A future that reflects a different education, rooted in the principles of emancipation, rights, economic and social justice, participation, respect for nature and living beings, political redemption of minorities and planetary citizenship.
