Literary acrobatics maidens. Linguistic games and childhood perspectives in Alberto Savinio's prose

Main Article Content

Giovanni Savarese

Abstract

The essay rereads the particular work in prose of a non-conformist author like Alberto Savinio: infact, he uses the storytelling to find moments related to childhood. We consider of interest the dreamlike and imaginary aspect of his language and the onomastic play with names to avoid that the adults restrict every child. Childhood is a world where fantasy overcomes the conservatism attitude of the grown-ups to explain freely its unique and original universe.
