Abstract

A pedagogical view, in times of emergency, casts a different light on events, stories and people, sublimating pain and confusion to make them occasions.

In the time and space of a house - now seen as home and shelter - new coordinates of inner narration can unravel: a shared fairy tale, the heartbreaking company of an absence; and again, paraphrasing Paul Ricoeur, the difficult journey from memory to forgiveness, patient and tiring experience of deep introspection and valorial fulfilment.

Therefore, absence becomes essence, if rediscovered as appeal, possibility: educating to the dimension of narration, of return and forgiveness means to find a horizon of meaning that considers distance as "different proximity"; it means promoting a collateral thought that generates beauty.

Narrative fictio, a dialogue of intimate absence, renewed courage in forgiveness: this is the triple and unlimited perspective to give intense, unexpected and wonderful light to a tired and overwhelming everyday life.
