End of work or work transformation? Pedagogy's answer

Abstract

In the era of the 'end of work' and the disaffection from work, does the epistemological investment, with which pedagogy has given work a clear connotative charge since the 1950s, still make sense? Or should we give up, imagining other terrains on which to play out our future? Probably we need to historicise and reconceptualise the idea of work both in the private and on the web in order to give rise to a new and promising line of research from which pedagogy can draw stimulus and concreteness.
