Abstract

This work aims to deepen a reflection on the fruitful relationship between education and theatre, reflecting first of all on ‘theatre pedagogy’ as a ‘holistic’ approach that underlines the importance of the dramatic arts in supporting the global and integrated development of students. Specifically, through the description of one of the workshop moments involving master's students in a research project still in progress at the Federico II University of Naples on the use of the Stanislavskij Method as a methodology capable of promoting meta-emotional skills, we will seek to reflect on the importance of planning educational paths that, from an enactive point of view, allow students who are preparing to enter the world of work in educational and care contexts to begin to experience at 'first-hand' an attitude of ‘thoughtful professional’. An attitude that allows not only to enhance critical and reflective thinking but also to develop the experiential heritage of an educational work which, like the Stanislavskij Method, requires the responsibility of involving oneself 'fully' in processes, and theater has always taught us this, highly humanizing.
