Abstract

The challenge for teachers, in modern-day school, is to be able to deeply understand the needs of students, and to intervene with teaching strategies and innovative methodologies to promote talents through orientational teaching.

To this aim, at the I.C. Foscolo-Gabelli in Foggia, DADA school signatory of a memorandum of understanding with the University of Foggia, an educational experiment was conducted, with the DAFNE Department, aimed at raising awareness on Food Microbiology.

Through the bibliographic study and the use of dissemination/communication software, the students have conducted various research projects, finalized at writing scientific papers, also through a cooperative teaching in virtual worlds (metaverse).

This study aims to document the experimentation highlighting how scientific dissemination can be a concrete opportunity to structure their own learning through a new pedagogical paradigm.
