Abstract

The first exploratory survey conducted by the research group Siped-Care on a sample of health professionals and care, reveals the urgent need to introduce humanities in the training curriculum and in the Professional training placement. Health professionals, in fact, already are supposed to move with agility through increasingly complex knowledge and changing settings and they request the formation of a Medical professionalism, understood as “global expertise”, high performers-cognitive type. With this experience, they will be able to make decisions professionally valid, when it comes to your health or even the lives of individuals. The health professional acts on shaky ground and often controversial: that of human suffering and needs to rediscover the roots of job satisfaction in contexts that require the change, if not an actual metamorphosis in human relations.
