New forms of subjectivity in the current eco-technological interplay between inequalities and inclusive futures

Abstract

This paper offers reflections on the complex eco-technological and social transformations that are reshaping the contours of contemporary life, producing profound changes in both collective and individual forms of existence. Within this context, social and cultural differences and emerging subjectivities redefine identities, relationships, and resources, while also generating tensions, crises, and transformations, thus creating a productive dialectic between present uncertainties and future aspirations. The study further explores the ethical and educational implications of these unprecedented transformations, with particular attention to the rights of all individuals, responsibilities, and evolving forms of citizenship within the eco-technological entanglement of human and digital realities. Particular emphasis is placed on the educational dimension as a space for possibility and metabletic inquiry, capable of reimagining a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. Finally, the paper proposes pedagogical pathways aimed at reducing inequalities and promoting the recognition of differences, grounded in the generative paradigms of plurality and inclusion.
