Use simulation to evaluate socio-educational competencies: structured objective exam o.s.c.e. adaptate to assess the skills of the professional educator

Abstract
The topic of this paper is assessement of student competency, where the competency is defined as a complex goal to attain at the end of university training. Objective Structured Clinical Examination adapted to Social work is analyzed according to research done by two teams, in Canada and in California. It is suggested to use this OSCE, adapted to Social work, also for the evaluation of educators’ competency in Italian context.
